Stream improvement and wetland restoration throughout the state of Iowa
Our mission is to utilize low-cost, ecologically-friendly methods to improve the water quality in our state. We are currently focused on stream improvement and wetland restoration projects in southeast Iowa. Give back to nature by supporting us in our efforts.
Post-assisted log structures (PALS) and beaver dam analogues (BDAs) made out of natural materials are low-cost, environmentally-friendly ways to slow the water down, giving farm nutrients and other pollutants more time to break down. They also trap sediment, working to reduce and reverse erosion in streams. Combined with aquatic vegetation planting, these are powerful water-cleansing machines.
